LABORATORY TESTING
CJ Associates in-house laboratory undertake a range of geotechnical and materials testing with a strong emphasis on quality. Having maintained UKAS accreditation for over three decades, the laboratory has expanded in recent years to include in-situ testing for soils / aggregates and black top testing from our dedicated facility in Bridgend. Our available in-house testing includes:
- Moisture Content.
- Liquid limit, plastic limit and plasticity index.
- Particle size distribution (via wet / dry sieving and hydrometer).
- Optimum moisture content / maximum dry density (OMC/MDD).
- Moisture Condition Value.
- Rock strength testing.
- Unconfined compressive strength.
- Point load determination.
In addition to the above we regularly undertake a full range of geotechnical testing with full access to other testing facilities within the RSK Group. Routine geo-environmental and waste classification testing is also available via in-group resource.
CONCRETE & MATERIALS TESTING
CJ Associates offer a range of concrete and materials testing options including testing the compressive strength and density of concrete cubes, as well as grading of aggregates, ideal for the civil engineering and construction industries.
Laboratory data deliverables include digital data in both PDF and AGS format where applicable. Our accreditation is limited to those listed on our current UKAS schedule of accreditation. To view this click here
