CJ Associates In-Situ Testing services offer a broad range of in-situ testing integral to both ground investigations and construction phase projects. Our experienced technicians offer a high level of technical expertise and practical know-how to support your in-situ field testing needs.

To provide our clients with the most accurate and reliable data, we use high-quality and innovative equipment, combined with our highly trained field staff, quality reporting and quick response times.
Most of CJA’s in-situ testing services are accredited and performed in accordance with the relevant British and ISO standards (including BS, BS EN, ISO and ASTM). Our available services include:
- Asphalt testing.
- California Bearing Ratio (by plate load).
- Concrete sampling.
- Infiltration (soakaway) tests.
- In-Situ Density by sand replacement and core cutter methods.
- Mexe Cone Penetrometer testing.
- Plate Loading Test for vertical deformation and strength characteristics of soil.
- Road Pavement Surface testing.
- Slump testing
- TRL Dynamic Cone Penetrometer testing.
CONCRETE CORING & OTHER SERVICES
CJ Associates own and operate both towable trailer mounted Calibre Neptune concrete coring units as well as bolt-down bracket mounted equipment for concrete and masonry coring to allow subsequent in-situ on site testing or later laboratory analyses.
Further in-situ testing services, including Cone Penetration Testing, Resistivity testing and others are available both via our sister organisations within RSK and via approved external supply chain partners.
